The following programs are available for potential homebuyers in San José:
- Welcome HOME Program - Downpayment assistance program which offers a loan up to $25,000 at 3% simple interest for first-time homebuyers.
- Building Equity & Growth in Neighborhoods (BEGIN) - Downpayment assistance program in specific new construction developments for low- and moderate-income first-time homebuyer.
- Neighborhood Stabilization Program -
The NSP homebuyer program offers mortgage assistance to income-eligible homebuyers of designated single-family homes in San Jose.
- Village Square Program - The Homebuyer Program at Village Square will offer a deferred repayment equity-share/shared appreciation loan for designated townhomes.
- Teacher Homebuyer Program (THP) -
Program for full-time San José public school teachers and credentialed staff.
