Projects

Since 1988, the Department of Housing has financed the development of thousands of affordable housing units. These projects have included new construction of rental housing, acquisition/rehabilitation of rental housing, new construction of townhouses and condominiums for first-time homebuyers, Single-Room Occupancy (SRO) hotels, transitional living developments, homeless shelters, and projects for special needs housing groups (including projects for persons with AIDs/HIV, developmentally disabled adults, mentally disabled adults, and seniors).
