| Owners and volunteers contributed labor to build the seven Casa del Sol single-family houses developed by Habitat for Humanity. Constructed on a City-owned surplus site, development was complicated by the need for a special design to accommodate the Alviso Area flood plain. The City provided construction financing which was later rolled into second mortgages. | |||
